Ordori Site

- Illuminations turned on at sunset and turned off at 22:00

- Located in Odori Park in the center of Sapporo, here you will find a fascinating world of snow and ice stretching across approximately 1.5 kilometers. You can enjoy a wealth of attractions such as the amazing huge snow sculptures, Hokkaido-specialty gourmet options, a skating rink, and much more! Again this year, the popular projection mapping shows are not to be missed.

Susukino Site

- Feb.4 (Tue.) - Feb.11 (Tue), 202

- You can visit Susukino site at any time

- Illuminations turned off at 23:00 but on the last day, illuminations turned off at 22:00

- Under the theme of 'Enjoy the Ice', this site offers a fantastic ice sculpture show and the Ice Sculpture Contest. You can also visit the plaza, 'Fureai Hiroba' to touch or ride on the ice sculptures, take photos in the Illumination Street, or have hot drinks at the Ice Bar.

Tsudome Site

- Jan.31 (Fri.) - Feb.11 (Tue), 2020

- Open from 9:00 - 17:00
- At the very popular Tsudome Site, both children and their parents can have fun on slides, snow rafts, and other attractions. The indoor space offers gourmet booths and rest areas as well as other attractions for children to play in. Here everyone can enjoy a true Hokkaido experience of playing in the snow.

To access to the Snow Festival Sites above, you have to start from Odori station where all the subway transits are.

Otaru Site
- February 9 to 16, 2020

- You can visit any time, but after sunset, people will burn candles and light. So going at night is recommended.
- Otaru is the freshest raw fish/seafood (Sushi, Sashimi, King Crab) in Hokkaido or even in Japan. Try it out!

You have to take the JR train from Sapporo station to Otaru Station. It takes about 30 min by JR Train.

Chitose Lake Shikotsu Snow Festival Site

- Jan 24, 2020 – Feb 16, 2020

- 9:00 am - 10 pm, light up from 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

- In the day time, you can play ice, but don't forget to stay until night because the light up is very beautiful. I promise. They build very big sculptures and caverns. You can go up and go into the structure. Amazing I tell you.
